We have received the shipment of 2 Skutt kilns at our studio today! We’ll be getting them unboxed this weekend and getting the vents installed over the next week or so. Look out for an announcement coming soon regarding our first firing dates. And since we have been getting questions around this topic, it’s a good time to note firing pricing.

For Associate Members, piece-wise firing will have a $1 base charge per piece to cover labor costs of loading and firing the kilns; each piece will also be priced on a volume basis. We have a wonderful 3D chart to help with determining pricing! Full members have this kind of firing included in their membership.
Half a kiln load will be $30 for all members.
A full kiln load will be $50 for all members.
