In light of the news of confirmed cases of patients diagnosed with COVID-19 in the Capital Region, we would like to give a friendly reminder of practices you can take to best protect yourself and your fellow potters from infection.
Please prevent the spread of disease by maintaining good hygiene practices:
washing your hands often with soap and water
sneezing/coughing into your elbows and not into the open air
limiting close contact with others
Your community thanks you for staying home if you have any flu- or cold-like symptoms, like coughing, sneezing, runny nose, etc. If you are sick, do not come to the studio. During this time, we recommend against gathering in large groups in the studio space to limit close social interactions. We have asked the working members to clean and disinfect shared spaces more frequently, and we would encourage you to take extra care in disinfecting work surfaces you have used at WPS.
We will monitor the course of the COVID-19 outbreak and provide updates on a regular basis. Please reach out to the board if you have any questions at board@waterbrookpotters.com.
Thank you,
Waterbrook Potters Studio Board of Directors
