Limited Reopening June 1: We are pleased to announce that Waterbrook Potters Studio will begin a limited opening on June 1, 2020. All members MUST wear face masks while in the studio and follow social distancing protocols. Some wheels and the work tables have been marked for use to ensure 6 feet of personal space.
Sign up for studio slots on the Website: Until we can fully open, we are limiting use to 6 people in the studio at a time, in 4-hour blocks. There is an hour built in to the schedule, between sessions, for cleaning and to reduce contact when entering and leaving. Sign-up details were emailed to current members. If you have any problems please let us know. Remember, this is new to all of us so don’t be afraid to ask. Do not sign up for a slot if you have been to a high infection rate area or are exhibiting COVID-19-related symptoms! We will not have towels available during this time, so please bring and take your own. Carry out any food or waste. Please remember to wipe down any surfaces used with disinfecting solution/wipes and clean extra well during this continued pandemic period.
Membership Payments Resume: For current members, please resume your membership payments between now and June 15th. If paying by card, please start your payments again on the website (details were emailed out to current members). If paying by check, please by mail it to Waterbrook Potters Studio, 406B 9th Ave., Watervliet, NY 12189. If you have paid annually, we will add two months onto your renewal time.
New members are welcome to join after July 1st.
Firing for associate members will go back to regular fees and we will accept pieces on Saturdays from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Please contact Melissa with any questions about payment (treasurer@waterbrookpotters.com).
Elections: Elections for the Board positions will take place in late June. It’s not too late to email your interest! Paul and Theresa will be coordinating the ballots. Current members received an email with their contact information.
With Appreciation and Best Regards,
Waterbrook Board of Directors
